William Bryant of Stogumber in the County of Somerset Clerk to Charles Rowcliffe of the same place attorney forth above named petitioner maketh oath & saith that  on yesterday this peponent saw a copy of the rule for a view – hereunto answered delivered to Mr Thomas Warden the attorney for the above name Defendent by the said Charles Rowcliffe – and heard the said Charlies Rowcliffe ask the said Thomas Warden to name a day for the view and the  to name the Def[enden]t’s the view. The said Thomas Warden refused to do so and said he could do neither.
