Bridgwater Alfred 1.29, 20 February 1832

Miss Rawlings to leave the King’s Square School after 15 years.

A dwelling house belonging to Mr James Watts to be sold. It fronts St Matthew’s Field, 23 feet in width, and a garden is behind extending to Roper’s Lane, consisting of about half an acre. Recommended to be turned over to building.

The 1887 OS 25 inch map. The frontage marked in red seems to be the only one of about 23 feet. The public house next door was the Cock Inn or Old Cock Inn.
