Notes from the 29 October 1832 Edition:
Charles Penruddocke and Alexander Edmond Cockburn in Bridgwater to revise the voter list – their work starts on 29 October 1832 and will continue to 1 November. This was mentioned in the previous edition. The revisions to the list are presumably the result of the 1832 Reform Act.
Mr Pine’s dwelling house in Friarn Street for sale. Lease of 1000 years. Unfortunately no specifics are given on the location of this property.
Continued bitter dispute with the Sherbourne Journal.

Inquest at Chilton Polden for William, 20 week old son of Charles Morfett a tailor and shopkeeper of the village. When returning from Bristol with a heavily laden cart of goods, the cart sped downhill in Cossington and hit an open gutter, causing it to lurch, throwing Mrs Morfett and baby William into the road.
23rd October, marriage of Mr Henry Clark, draper of Cornhill to Mary 2nd daughter of William Lake, a carrier of Bridgwater.
